How it works

From project notes to a useful handoff

AgentMemory keeps a project’s selected context in a local workspace. You decide what to add, what to retrieve, and what to share with another tool.

1. Create a project and add material

Create a named project, add memories, decisions, or tasks, import supported JSON conversations, or index selected text files. Each project and its records are stored locally.

2. Search and prepare context

Search records using full-text search. The context builder gathers up to eight matching results with concise source details. Review the brief and copy it when you choose to use another AI or editor.

3. Preserve useful states

Edit records with revision history, save checkpoints before major work, and restore with a safety checkpoint created first. Create a password-encrypted backup for a separate copy of the workspace.

4. Use the account and local tools

A verified account and paid subscription are required for device authorization. Each person can authorize one device. The paired Chrome extension and local MCP connection use that same desktop authorization.
